Florida Keys and Florida Bay: the water and what the app weighs

Florida Keys and Florida Bay is one of the five South Florida waters Anglrithm reads, each fished differently. The reef tract on the ocean side, the passes and channels, the backcountry and Florida Bay, Key Largo to Key West. This page sets out what the app weighs here, where its data is weakest, the inlets and built-in spots in the region and the fish scored at them. The hour and the score are in the app.

What the app weighs here

  • The reef tract and the passes
  • The tide in the passes
  • Sanctuary and no-take zones
  • Wind and seas on the ocean side

The layers and inputs that matter most in this water, as the chart names them. Every one carries its source and its age in the app.

Where the data is weakest

One open-ocean model cannot stand for every backcountry channel; each spot reads its own tide station, and every reading names its source.

The region is editorial, not a survey boundary: a spot near its edge is read from its own position, not from the region.
