Data sources
Anglrithm makes no weather, tide or ocean data of its own. It reads public feeds from the agencies and providers below, grades the forecasts against what the stations measured, and names the source and the age of every number it shows.
What it compiles
Anglrithm compiles 71 public data feeds from 35 agencies and providers into one view of South Florida water: seven weather models and three wave models graded against eight NOAA stations over 137,452 station-hours, 78 tide stations, 2,153 wrecks and reefs, and the satellite water, each number with its source and its age.
How the forecasts hold up against the stations is on the accuracy page, and the studies behind the guidance on the science page.
