Inlets and passes
Anglrithm measures every run from one of 20 inlets and passes, from Jupiter Inlet to the Key West Main Ship Channel and up the southwest Gulf coast to Venice Inlet. Each has a page with the public facts about its water: how its tide runs, what is known about its current, and the structure outside.

How these pages are made
- Tide
- Statistics of NOAA CO-OPS tide predictions at the gauges within 6 nm: the mean range and the median time of each high against a reference gauge, Government Cut on the Atlantic and in the Keys, Naples on the Gulf.
- Current
- The NOAA current prediction station where the source registry names one. The app does not read current stations yet.
- Structure
- Counts by kind of the 2,153 wrecks and reefs in the structure file within 10 nm, from the FWC, county and NOAA records. Never a position.
- Spots
- The built-in spots within 15 nm, each with its own guide.
The inlet points are the ones the app measures runs from: hand-placed from the NOAA charts on the Atlantic and in the Keys, and from the USGS Geographic Names Information System on the Gulf. Where each feed comes from is on the sources page.
