Five South Florida waters

One region, five waters, each fished differently: Palm Beach and Jupiter, Broward and Miami offshore, Biscayne Bay, Florida Keys and Florida Bay and Southwest Gulf. Each has a page with what the water is, what the app weighs there, where its data is weakest, and the inlets, spots and fish in it. The regions are editorial, not survey boundaries.

  • Palm Beach and Jupiter

The Florida Current close to the beach, the offshore ledges and the inlets from Jupiter to Boca Raton.

  • Broward and Miami offshore

The reefs and wrecks off Broward and Miami-Dade, the approach to the Gulf Stream and the runs out of Hillsboro, Port Everglades, Haulover and Government Cut.

  • Biscayne Bay

The shallow flats, the mangrove edge and the channels of Biscayne Bay and Card Sound, inside the barrier islands.

  • Florida Keys and Florida Bay

The reef tract on the ocean side, the passes and channels, the backcountry and Florida Bay, Key Largo to Key West.

  • Southwest Gulf

The estuaries, mangroves, passes and nearshore reefs from Chokoloskee and Marco Island to Venice.
